Community members from Wisconsin to New Mexico to North Carolina gather to network, train & call for change in the massive national expansion of industrial animal operations
WHAT: The first-of-its-kind Factory Farm Summit is a day-long event bringing together nationally recognized & Wisconsin-based industrial factory farming experts to work with citizens confronting the issues & impacts of the nation’s concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO) crisis and finding solutions for standing up to industrial animal agriculture in their communities. Organized by the national nonprofit Socially Responsible Agricultural Project in partnership with Wisconsin’s Midwest Environmental Advocates, Kewaunee CARES and Farms Not Factories.
