We’re pleased to welcome Maegan Eichinger to the SRAP team as our new communications associate!

Maegan first discovered her love of storytelling after being introduced to dance at an early age. As she grew up, this passion translated into a love for creative writing and graphic design.

She honed these skills at Appalachian State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising with a Creative Emphasis.

With over five years of professional experience in strategic communications, she is thrilled to join SRAP to promote social justice, and share stories of resilience.

Maegan said:

“I’m so excited to be joining SRAP’s team as the communications associate! Giving back is at the heart of what inspires me to create engaging content. I’m thrilled to be joining an organization that does just that by advocating for a more equitable and socially responsible food future.”

Maegan comes to SRAP after working for various mission-driven organizations that focused on sustainable fashion, environmental research, and public health. She resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she enjoys the privilege of easy access to the Appalachian Mountains and the Carolina coast.
