Sunday meeting to feature expert information on the impacts of industrial animal operation on local health, environment, property values and lifestyle

EVANSVILLE, IN ” September 20, 2017 Warrick RUINED, Residents United in No Egg Development, is holding a public forum How Could the Planned Industrial Egg Factory Affect You? at the Warrick County 4-H Center on Sunday September 24th at 2:00pm.   The Warrick County 4H Center is located at 133 E. Degonia Road in Boonville.

All Warrick County residents are encouraged to attend. Free lunch will be served.

The forum will educate and inform residents on potential hazards the proposed Prime Foods egg factory will bring to Warrick County and surrounding areas, including risks to community health, air quality, water safety and economic security.

Information and discussion will highlight the harsh realities industrial animal facilities bring to U.S. communities. Across the nation, CAFO communities (confined animal feeding operations) report harmful impacts from noxious emissions and natural resource contamination to respiratory illnesses and decreased property values. Is this really what Warrick County wants for its future?
