What: A coalition of organizations dedicated to sustainable agriculture, economically-viable farming practices and preserving the public health and stability of rural communities will hold an open forum called Good Food, Responsible Agriculture & Preserving Our Rural Economy in Delta County. Delta County is changing. It’s no secret to residents of the Western Slope that living and livelihoods on this landscape are on the move. Issues of family-scaled farming and ranching, healthy living conditions, environmental safety, the push to produce sustainable good  food and the introduction of industrial agriculture models are all up for public discussion and debate. No less than the future of the County, the State and the region lie in the balance.
