Delta County is changing. It’s no secret to residents of the Western Slope that living and livelihoods on this landscape are on the move. Issues of family-scaled farming and ranching, healthy living conditions, environmental safety, the push to produce sustainable good food and the introduction of industrial agriculture models are all up for public discussion and debate. No less than the future of the County, the State and the region lie in the balance.
Sponsored by the Western Slope Conservation Center, Western Colorado Congress, Valley Organic Growers Association and Socially Responsible Agricultural Project, Good Food, Responsible Agriculture & Preserving Our Rural Economy in Delta County will begin the conversation on this changing landscape ”our agricultural heritage.
